Golden Coast Hotel & Bungalows - Agios Panteleimon (Attica)

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, being very close to the beach. The sandy beach of the bay of Marathon was right on the doorstep, making it convenient for a beach lover like me. The hotel facilities were perfect, and the cleanliness was great. The staff was friendly and always ready to assist. the breakfast spread was delicious and had a wide variety of choices.

Not obvious to find, but once you locate it, everything else is smooth sailing.

Reception staff is very helpful and understanding. Main restaurant is perfect: excellent choice & quality of food! Grill restaurant is good.

In fact it's a 3-star hotel, not 4-star. 1. Beach is dirty, cigarette ends are everywhere, there is no shower on the beach, each time you have to go to the hotel territory (which is beside the fence), you have to pass the bar and then you will be able to have shower after salty water. If you want to visit the toilet you will have to walk around 200 meters to the nearest Taverna restaurant. 2. Even if you place "do not disturb" on your door the housekeeper knocks once and comes in after 2 seconds... 3. Animation is in French 4. On Booked.net they say "free wifi" - you will have only 1 hour per day, if you want more you will have to pay 5 euro. 5. The hotel is nowhere - nearest shops and restaurants are within 30 minutes walk or 10 minutes walk+5 minutes bus. 6. Shop is absolutely awful, if you forgot something, you won't be able to buy it, because they sell absolutely nothing and work two times a day two hours each time.

We enjoyed everything about our stay here, and there are restaurants like Taverna Leonidas within a short walking distance.

A private kitchen was ok for us. The hotel is near a bus stop: )

Our holiday was enjoyable because the all inclusive deal just made things so easy. The location was good being close to the beach although having a car was essential to be able to visit local archeological sites. It was end of season and the hotel was quiet which meant everywhere was less busy and more relaxed. The food selection was very good with plenty of choice even though only one restaurant was open.

The only problem we had was finding the Hotel on the first night. The directions on the website link from Booked.net took us to a non exisitent hotel. This same non existant Hotel can be found on google maps. The actual Hotel was closer to Nea Makri than Marathon beach.

My recent stay at this luxurious hotel was truly amazing. The location was just perfect, with a beautiful beach just a stone's throw away. I was able to relax and unwind while enjoying the breathtaking views. The staff here went above and beyond to provide exceptional service, from the friendly bell staff/porter to the helpful reception staff who were available 24/7. The room amenities were top-notch, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including ironing facilities and a safe. Plus, the free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a great bonus, keeping me connected throughout my stay.

With its prime beachfront location, this place is an ideal choice for anyone looking to indulge in a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

Every thing is well organised and the staff are very good and helpful, the food and drink are plentiful.

Swimmimg pool does not open unti 11am

Great view from the balcony and the beach was easily accessible. The food offered had a good variety and the staff was accommodating. Loved the spa treatments that were available.

The room was very outdated and did not match the website pictures. The hygiene was questionable, as there were bugs and the towels were not regularly changed.

Had an amazing Easter break at a beach hotel with clear sea and clean private beach. the food was excellent, with a lot of variety and fresh pizza and pasta stations. the staff was very friendly and the hotel was kept very clean. the location was great, close to a town with shops, restaurants, and a short transfer from the airport. the hotel also had lovely rooms with large balconies overlooking the pool area.

The beds were a bit hard and uncomfortable. the entertainment was geared towards French guests which made it a bit difficult for English speaking guests.

The hotel is situated right on the sandy beach of the bay of Marathon, offering stunning views of the coastline. Guests can enjoy the convenience of being just steps away from the crystal, clear waters and the opportunity to relax on the beach throughout their stay. there are plenty of sun, loungers available by the beach and the pools to soak up the sun and enjoy a day of leisure.

Some guests noted the presence of flies in the restaurant on some days, which could be a minor inconvenience during meal times.
